Mini Masterpieces 2010
Back again for it's eighth year, Mini Masterpieces has teamed up with Bristol University's drama department, to offer a fantastic summer school to undergraduates for June 2010.
The Mini Masterpieces approach uses the Bristol Rules... a bit like Dogmae, only less Danish...developed over the last seven years in short film projects in Bristol, London, Hannover and Posnan. Using the method, we've produced over 30 films including award-winners God and Dave, The Audition, Forgotten Comic, Gash and Double Take.
Fiction or Doco, we're here to make you make something - it's great for your the web, portfolios and CVs!
We kick the project off with a ‘Briefing and Inspiration Meeting’ at 2pm on Tuesday, June 8th. Armed with all th info, you’ll have three days until Friday 11th June to come up with an idea to pitch to a panel of experienced industry producers. We’ll then help you develop your projects in production teams through workshops and surgeries. The selected ideas will be shot on Tuesday OR Wednesday, 22/23rd June. All teams will then have one day for editing and will be premiered on Friday 25th June.
