mini masterpieces 2007

Each year since 2003 intrepid filmmakers from all over the country have travelled to Bristol to make films over just a few days. The results, comedy, art house, animation and documentary have been premiered at the wonderful Encounters Festival in Bristol, UK and online at the BBC Film Network.

This year, Mini Masterpieces 2007, has brought together young filmmakers from throughout the South West of England to work on a collaborative film project, like an online version of the game of ‘consequences’. Five teams of filmmakers have written, acted and shot short scenes in which their characters respond to the scenes already submitted. Each film has been uploaded to youtube where they can be viewed, and responded to, by filmmakers around the world.
